The English artist Murray Head, Actor and Singer. Head has appeared in a number of films, including a starring role as the character Bob Elkin in the BAFTA award winning and Oscar-nominated 1971 film Sunday Bloody Sunday. As a musician, he is most recognised for his international hit songs "Superstar" (from the 1970 rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar) and "One Night in Bangkok" (the 1984 single from the musical Chess, which topped the charts in various countries). He has been involved in several projects since the 1960s and continues to record music, perform concerts, and make appearances on television either as himself or as a character actor.
He walked the ephemeral stage of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre on July 14, 2017. A music scene at 2,877m above sea level, it is is an event in itself!
Murray Head is arguably the most French of British artists. Indeed, it is especially in France and in French-speaking countries that he has most often obtained the recognition of his many talents. In the midst of his various activities, Murray Head has always kept a place for music.
This folk icon has not finished surprising her audiences and is not ready to hang up her guitar. An exceptional concert, where the public gets carried away to the sounds of its essential hits punctuated by the blues which are at the origin of its musical inspiration, and comes out dazzled by so much generosity! Its sensitivity will also inevitably touch those who discover it today.
Cast: Murray Head, Phil Palmer, Henry Fausing Smith, Alasdair Mac Dougal, Jennifer Maidman, Alain Larribet
