After the noticed Black To Blue, Gaëlle Buswel returns with her 3rd album New day’s waiting (released in 2017 in France, Europe and Japan). Recorded between France and Austin, Texas, this is a colorful Folk, Rock 70's and Blues Rock album, both a tribute to its influences and firmly rooted in its time, defended on stage with infectious enthusiasm.
A real beast of the stage, she has more than 500 concerts to her counter (including the famous Quebec summer festival in Canada, a tour of Japan, Polynesia and the United States), plays in beautiful Parisian venues such as La Cigale , La café de la Danse, New Morning, Le Divan du monde…. and provided stage openings for ZZ Top, Beth Hart, Louis Bertignac, James Hunter Six or Jonny Lang…
Gaëlle Buswel is a French singer, guitarist and songwriter from Alfortville, whose musical style is inspired by the blues, folk and rock of the 70s. She began her solo career by meeting guitarist Neal Black in a café concert in Cauville in Normandy called the Soubock. Previously she played with a blues rock band called Cam On for six years and lived in England.
In 2015, she received the Cahors Blues Festival award and the France Blues Award and represents the France at the International Blues Challenge in Horsen, Denmark. In 2016, she received the French revelation prize of Cognac Blues Passions and plays at the Tahiti Blues Festival in Polynesia.
In 2019, Gaelle marks the spirits during her concerts in the first parts of the legendary group ZZ TOP at the Printemps de Pérouges and the Zénith de Nancy.
In 2021 his new album "Your Journey" is released, a more produced and more rock album recorded between ICP studios in Belgium and Abbey Road Studios in London. This album will be much supported by the French press, the Parisian compares it by calling it the new Sheryl Crow French. Georges Lang spots the artist and broadcasts it in his mythical show Les nocturnes de Georges Lang, and Rolling Stone Magazine supported the album as well as Rock and Folk who ranks his career in a nice French project chart. This album will also be ranked in the best releases by the American magazine The Morning Call.
