In the footsteps of the pioneers of the harmonica, you will be propelled into the American Far West, then to Ireland, and finally into the meanders of the Mississippi. Throughout the show, you will learn, instrument in hand, the basics of the harmonica in a fun and interactive way.
Born in Warsaw, Poland, Zlap Greg (Greg Szlapczynski) moved to Paris at the end of the eighties with a small blues harmonica in his pocket. After studying computer science Greg changes to the career of a musician. In constant improvement and innovation of new techniques to highlight his art, he became one of the best harmonicistes Europe.
GREG ZLAP collaborates with the most famous French artists (Johnny Hallyday, Francis Cabrel, Charles Aznavour), as well as teachers International Jazz and Blues (Rhode SCOTT, IAN Siegal, KEITH B. BROWN), writers of music and Film (Vladimir Cosma).
The music is an innovative Greg Zlap fuss of Blues and Jazz, constantly evolving along their albums. His new project, Road Movie (S), revolves round the theme of the Blues and the Cinema. Greg leads by a real or imaginary trip to interference from the pieces of film with its poignant harmonica players and some magnetic draw to John Lee Hooker I Howlin Wolf.
