For more than a decade, the Ghislieri ensemble, born inside the prestigious Collegio Ghislieri in Pavia, has been responsible for changing the outlook on the sacred repertoire of the 18th century by making the public discover lesser-known works by great masters or rarely programmed composers. These include Baldassarre Galuppi, Niccolò Jommelli and Davide Perez, who have been the subject of a series of recordings with Amadeus and Harmonia mundi.
