"LOVE STORY" Live Concert on Valentine's Day
SigmArt, in partnership with The Palaces of St Petersburg, is delighted to present on Valentine's Day the Concert "Love Story" from the famous Cinema House Dom Kino in St Petersburg on the 14th of February at 20.00 MSK (17.00 GMT), exclusive Live streaming on SigmArt TV.
On Valentine's Day, the House of Cinema will feature melodies and songs about the joys and vicissitudes of love from good old Russian films and European film classics.
The most romantic soundtracks will be accompanied by shots of love stories: the immortal lovers Romeo and Juliet from the legendary masterpiece by Zeffirelli; Rose and Jack from Titanic; exquisite heroes of French films that graced the soundtracks of Michel Legrand; funny Tosya and everyone's favorite Ilya from "Girls"; touching Vasya and Nadia from the film "Love and Pigeons"; who became relatives of the heroes of Ryazanov's films "Office Romance", "Station for Two", "The Irony of Fate" and other characters.
On this fascinating journey into the world of melodies of famous love stories, the spectators will be accompanied by the expressive and virtuoso Simone Zanchini. The accordion in his hands truly works wonders, emitting the thunderous sounds of a real organ, then soul-piercing melodies, then exploding with a melody with all Italian passion! He will perform a composition by Roberto Di Marino, who brilliantly managed to embody in sounds the colors that form the basis of our life.
In a duet with Maria Safariants (Violin), Simone Zanchini will perform one of the most piercing musical themes of world cinema, the soundtrack to the film "New Cinema Paradiso". Many music lovers and connoisseurs claim that it is the interpretation of the St. Petersburg violinist and Italian accordionist that has a truly magical and poignant effect.
Love songs that have accompanied several generations of Russian spectators both in joy and in sorrow will be performed by the Honored Artist of the Republic of Karelia, outstanding baritone Vladimir Tselebrovsky. The performer has long won the hearts of the audience. The nobility of the performing style is also appreciated among professionals: the singer has repeatedly become a laureate of international and Russian competitions. As a soloist of the St. Petersburg Chamber Opera, he is a guest soloist of the Mariinsky Theater, the Kazan Opera and Ballet Theater, etc.
Simone Zanchini is a laureate of the largest international competitions, famous all over the world as a master of improvisation. The brilliant Zanchini is a true innovative musician who expanded the repertoire and technical horizons of his instrument. Its boundless repertoire covers classical and contemporary music of various styles and directions. But it is not only the performing style that delights the audience with Zanchini, the tools created by Italian masters according to his projects are also amazing, for example, Zanchini is the owner of a one-of-a-kind wooden accordion.
