LORENZO NACCARATO TRIO "Nova Rupta"

Lorenzo Naccarato Trio develops the concept of cinematic jazz: the notion of movement is at the heart of their musical exploration. Their work is overflowing with lyricism, energy and invention. What also makes the trio special is the imagination of Lorenzo and his accomplices who brings the music to an orchestral sound, outside the "classical" principle of the accompanied soloist. Lorenzo Naccarato is passionate, an enthusiast of life, space-time, observation, stars and the cosmos, beauty in its simplicity ... rooted in an Italian culture and tradition rich in reading, colors, of tones, he knew how to choose the foundations of his trio to make only one block, one. The rhythms, the melodic lines, the ruptures, everything becomes one and leads you into a stimulating, incessant listening experience.
This new disk called Nova Rupta – the "new eruption" – follows on from a project initiated many years ago about the idea of kinematic music. The fantasy around telluric movements refers as much to the idea of a transitioning society about to erupt again, as to the position of the artist aiming at capturing and transcribing, like a seismograph, his era's and environment's vibrations.
