Krystle Warren (born in Kansas City) is an American singer-songwriter who has also recorded as Krystle Warren & The Faculty. Her music fuses almost every American style, from country and folk to soul and jazz.
Krystle Warren is a complete autodidact, at the same time poet, songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist. It is as a young teenager that she discovers the Beatles on the radio and will be passionate about music with eclectic tastes, making her go wide, from grunge to brit-pop to jazz. Part of the underground scenes of her hometown, she emigrated to New York to settle in Harlem where, she set up the group Faculty with which she will tour a lot alongside great artists and in particular with Rufus Wainwright. with which she has a lot of affinity. This strong personality not without recalling a certain Meshell Ndegeocello in various aspects, this extraordinary artist, whose honeyed and crystalline voice knows how to be very powerful, has the art of fusing all the genres that she likes thanks to a vocal technique. of the highest caliber.
