House of the Gipsies is a melting pot of cultures and beliefs, bringing together gypsy tribes. Presenting the new generation of the legendary lineage of the Gipsy Kings alongside the Manganiyar gypsies from Rajasthan, our music joins the ecstatic rumba latina with the raw and wild rhythms of the Manganiyar desert. We exist to bring joy, to preserve cultures - ancient and modern - and to create unity through the universal language of the soul - music.
It is time for the gipsies to share their own story. They have lived inside the deep connection between humans and music since the beginning of time.
Gipsies have grown into 37 main tribes, totalling over 13million people since their exodus from Rajasthan in India 1500 years ago, cultural preservation is foremost on their minds.
