Based in Montreuil, the group Loolie & the Surfing Rogers was created few years ago. Armed with her explosive charm, the singer Loolie combines spontaneity, the 60's faicness, linked to a powerful aggressiveness worthy of the best Alternative Rock trends.
The Surfing Rogers offer a solid and nervous instrumental backbone, where a Hurleur saxophone dominates and sends the sound!
The band was signed to Bullit Records (Rikkha, The Daltons, CookinwitheElvis, Western Machine) and released their first album 12 original tracks entitled "Tell me what you want"
A true UFO in exagonal production, Loolie & the Surfing Rogers offers an experiment of period groove mixed with the modernity of a powerful sound!!
Inspired by RocknRoll, Blues, Soul standards, the band combines naïve or poetic lyrics (such as "November Rain" and "Fly Fly" written by Songwriter Jason Edwards Label Kill The Dj or "Suspendue" written by Hervé Scott Flament aka "Sherkhan" of the mythical 80's band Ici Paris) and musical excellence.
Director Jalil Lespert made no mistake in choosing the title "Arabian Night" for the soundtrack of his film "Contrary Winds"
Cast: Hyat Luszpinski (Voice), Mathias Luszpinski (Tenor Baritone Saxophone), Antoine Pozzo di Borgo (Guitar), Eric Deloye (Drums), Greg (Bass)
