Influenced by a scientific curriculum, Anne Nguyen's choreographic writing is at the crossroads of hip-hop, science and contemporary dance. She highlights the technical performances of hip-hop dance while deconstructing the gestures, thus creating a sober and fluid vocabulary.
By imposing geometric constraints, she invents a new spatial arrangement of dance. PROMENADE OBLIGATOIRE is an uninterrupted journey for eight poppers, a walk in the single direction of time, which reflects on "being together" in a society that is always on the move. In the fight against determinism and their own confinement, the dancers inevitably advance in luminous corridors, like a moving material, creating an incredible living chronological frieze... Surprising! Anne Nguyen is a choreographer with a strong personality who is now an important part of the hip-hop choreographic landscape.
