"For You". This title, like all titles, has several meanings, despite its simplicity, despite its apparent unambiguity. It is for everyone and one in particular.
To all, because the song of this young artist, even if it draws its inspiration deeply from an interior space, is first directed towards others and the existential need to present oneself to an audience.
A one, because it is the fruit of an already long collaboration with pianist Alexey Asantcheeff, who is by his side in town and on stage. He is the author of most of the melodies on this album, for which he strives, with passionate thoroughness, to weave the arrangements that serve as a backdrop to Lou Tavano's deep and serious tone.
She is a vocal jazz sensation in the richly diverse Parisian scene. Now, Lou Tavano released her first album, a work that will garner as much attention as the fiery red hair that frames her face. Each song on "For You" is its own little universe, revealing Tavano's extraordinary talent: creating a musical universe where words carry as much weight as the notes.
Cast: Lou Tavano (Vocal), Alexey Asantcheeff (Piano), Arno de Casanove (Trumpet), Maxime Berton (Sax), Alexandre Perrot (Contrabass), Ariel Tessier (Drums)
