Renaud Garcia-Fons, French bassist and composer, is known for his melodic sense and his viola-like col arco sound; he is sometimes referred to as "the Paganini of double bass."
With this new project, Renaud Garcia-Fons leaves the Mediterranean and Hispanic sphere for his city, Paris. Throughout the original compositions, this imaginary stroll juxtaposes the melodic charm of the Paris of its childhood and the cosmopolitan and hectic Paris of today. Musical genres combine: musette, song, jazz, classical writing, current grooves, like a film that goes from black and white to color.
