“The most talked-about band in Memphis”, in just a few years the group Southern Avenue has created a solid reputation thanks to their eponymous album released in 2017 which represents a real breath of fresh air with gospel, blues and soul influences, as much by the critics as by the fans of this young group more than promising.
Led by guitarist Ori Naftaly, bassist Daniel McKee, keyboardist Jeremy Powell and sisters Jackson, Tierinii and Tikyra respectively on vocals and drums, Southern Avenue takes us on a journey to the origins of soul and blues with an energetic show and an almost perfect musical harmony to delight the ears of the finest music lovers. As evidenced by their numerous tours in the United States and Europe, Southern Avenue is what is currently done in the mix of genres between soul and blues on the other side of the Atlantic.
