Originally from the legendary Nashville, Tennessee, Charles “Wigg” Walker is one of the soul veterans who actively participated in the birth of the funk movement of the 1960s and 1970s, recording sumptuous titles for labels like Decca or Chess.
After long years of absence, he was noticed in 2005 by Bill Elder and his horde of ultra funky musicians, who were looking for a warm and powerful voice for their soul/funk project: The Dynamites feat. Charles Walker was born!
The Dynamites, or the perfect equation of explosive music. Much more than a simple mixture, the fusion of these two components triggered a real detonation. Now preceded by a devastating stage reputation, they play a raw and authentic funk, the most rocky and brassy there is: the essence of the groove!
Cast: Charles Walker (Vocals), Bill Elder (Guitar), Remco Keijzer (Saxophone), Thomas Welwaadt (Trumpet), Rich Brinsfield (Bass Guitar), Am Gamble (Organ)
